Sorry I am no help there Maybe just count your teeth

October 7, 200422 yr I hate it when you wake up in the chair, and your shorts are on backwards! Haven't you had X-rays Sir? you can see the wisdom teeth, if they haven't erupted yet. My tops came through fully, but the bottoms did not fully come up, because there is no room. The explanation is the cavemen or whatever needed more teeth, bigger mouths, because of being carniverous. And we have evolved into not needing the extra teeth and human jaws are getting smaller. I needed all 4 out...but only one side was hurting me at the time. So I was referred to an oral surgeon, who specializes in tooth extraction. Was awake during it, got right side, top & bottom out. Made a mistake in not going through with all 4 and getting it the hell over with! Because you don't want to go back again!
October 7, 200422 yr i had all 4 of em removed...it sucked. i think i had a combo of local and general anesthesia...i remember being knocked out for most of the procedure. for me, the whole thing was a disaster. the holes kept bleeding and didn't heal properly, became pretty damn painful, and eventually resulted in a nasty infection (side note: why is it that every infection must be "nasty"? can't we have minor infections once in awhile?). because of the infection, i needed surgery to remove and biopsy one of the then-humongous lymph nodes in my neck. during surgery, the doc was forced to snip 3/4 of a salivary gland to which the lymph node was stuck. nowadays i get some mean dry mouth, particularly in the morning, and i'm left with a surgical scar on my neck (it's not too bad since i had a plastic surgeon take out the node.). 503079[/snapback]

October 7, 200422 yr I've had 'em out. My sister actually was a nurse in the office while it was going on. It's not fun. I have bad reactions to anaesthesia. The painkillers made me really sick. They sure did sell for a lot of money though.... Anyways, the nitrous is fun if you get it. I would request it. You say some funny stuff.

October 7, 200422 yr Mine are growing into my other teeth and at angle and the dentist said I had to get them removed. Well that was a year ago, and it's my decision, that was just something I felt to be unnecessary.
October 7, 200422 yr I had 2 removed, they want to take out the other 2, but they don't bother me and I'm not to high on the idea of them doing it.
