In Hockey its pretty amazing when they do it. People who have been fighting the entire series will shake hands and everything. Theres that certain level of respect. Would never see that in Yanks Boston series

I wish that was done after ALL postseason series in all sports.

 

Sportsmanship is such a lost art, and displays like the one between the Cards and Dodgers after the game tonight is a good reminder that it is indeed just a game.

Your Cubbies pulled a similar choke job at home in game 4 of the NLDS last year against Atlanta, only to win at Atlanta in game 5 and take the series.

If they didn't "dump" Drew, they wouldn't have Marquis, who won 15 games, or King, their best lefty out of the pen. Plus, they got Wainwright in that deal, who could be special is he stays healthy (sounds like the pitching version of Drew).

 

Without that deal, the Cards aren't in the playoffs.
