Not real relevant to the election just thought I'd post it since I thought it was kind of funny. Got it off of The Intern's links of the week on SGW.

Kerry, of course, is fond of his sports metaphors, but they've gotten him in trouble before. In Boston this year, he referred to David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez collectively as ``Manny Ortiz'' and, earlier, said his favorite Sox player of all time was Eddie Yost - a longtime Washington Senators player who coached but never played for Boston.

:lol sounds like an up and coming Jack Mckeon

Anyone read an article about him in ESPN the Mag a while back?

Yeah I read that, good article, he was a real athlete back than

That's suprising because he throws like a girl.

He's 61, you gotta cut the man some slack. Most 61 year olds arent as physically active as he is. When you think about it most 40 year olds arent as active as Kerry.

When he recently threw out the first pitch at Fenway he got it closer to the plate than than the 58 year old Bush did on his recent trip to Milwaukee. So if Kerry throws like a girl, I'm not sure what you'd call Dubya :D

The good news: should Kerry be elected, he'll make sure hockey starts playing againg (as if anyone outside Boston cares anymore)
