D. Lee is a Winter Trade

Featured Replies

D. Lee produces the second half. (I even suggested putting him in Jupiter for the first-half!) Now, though I have grown impatient, he is due. I wouldn't trade his second-half potential now. We would be giving another team twice his potential (e.g. the value of his second half after his typical first-half mediocrity.) Consider a Winter trade. Don't trade him now.

I've said from day 1 he would be traded in November/December, before we have to offer him arbitration. Milk this season out of him. He is producing, and right now is hot! How many HR's does he have right now in the Boston-Atlants series'? 3 already? Keep him 'till the off-season...

I agree. But, I hear everyday on this site that Lee should be dumped now.

If we made that deal of DeRosa and Marquis for Lee and then Penny for Raffy I would do it. But still, Lee is gonna turn on the swith now...

Call me crazy, but I too feel we should hold onto DLee through the season. His potential is tantalizing and he is getting hot. I also love his defense.
