October 28, 200421 yr From The Ultimate Hitchhiker's guide: "In the beginning the Universe was Created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as bad move." 594820 I need to read that book chew...I heard its like existentialism type stuff...true? 595638 if existentialism can be painfully funny..... then yes. In another book by the same author, one creation theory was the idea that our universe was in fact sneezed out of the nose of a much larger being.
November 1, 200421 yr Evidence of a intelligent design are all around us.How can people decide to ignore it over a RANDOM explosion that just had everything line up in the right order for it to work, just baffle me! The house that I live in just happen to come together. The explosion cause the materials to be placed on the right spots. POOF! My house was build! The universe is far more complicated than the house I live in.
November 4, 200421 yr let's see.... roughly 100 billion stars in the Milky Way Galaxy alone... Estimated hundreds of billions of galaxies in the observable universe.... Factor in recent findings that planetary systems are probably quite common.... Planets a suitable distance from their suns have a chance of having liquid water. That's an awful lot of chances folks.
November 14, 200421 yr OMG. One of my friends tried to explain this to me for hours but it just didn't go in my head! Ugh! It's very hard for man to understand the concept that god has no beginning because everything that we know has a beginning. God was just...always there. And even though he was always there there STILL had to be a time where it first all started but that's not the way it goes...It's very hard to understand and I can't understand it. I just take it in and say ok. Anyways thanks for reminding me about the huge headache that I got trying to understand this-lol.
