November 11, 200421 yr They have to....the bullpen sucks, and this guy is pretty decent AND cheap. That's a combo that the Marlins need to look for.
November 11, 200421 yr It would be nice to have him back. It could give McKeon a level of confidence to be able to rest one of the other back of the BP guys when needed, or hold off pitching them 2 innings regularly and wearing them out.
November 11, 200421 yr I wasn't a Saenez fan. First outing, HR. Seems like whenever a big game came along he always gave up runs. We basically got him only because we were desperate to get OMGHI2ABE off the roster.
November 11, 200421 yr Seanez is a useful guy to have in the pen, but certainly not as a setup man. I wouldn't mind the Marls keeping him, but it seems unlikely in my opinion.
