If you were Illinois, would you hire Ron Zook?

 

He's a great recruiter and might be able to win in the Big 10. He couldn't win in the SEC, but each conference is different.

 

I'd say go after him. He now has coaching experience. He already has proven his recruiting skills. Go get him.
