November 28, 200421 yr Why can't we focus on the original posting? Within an hour or so it becomes a smorgasbord without an entree. This morning I Posted "Re-Focus on Reality." Moderator Rune, who I usually like, posted a detour. Moderator Das Texan, who I almost never like, took the detour further. Seems to me Moderators are there to keep the topic on-track. It's not just my Postings. Almost anything Posted these days becomes "a chat room" within a few hours (too often winding up in personal insults.) Postings should clearly identify the topic in the title and in the opening statement. Thereafter, Moderators should monitor the discussion to keep it on topic. Instead, Moderators are contributing to the Chat Room chaos.
