December 4, 200421 yr If Enc. isn't doing well starting next season (like a month or two, and possible not 100% recovery from surgery), maybe they could put Aguila as the starting RF.. Just a small thought..
December 4, 200421 yr I think Aguilla will get a callup around the same time he got one last year....end of the season.
December 4, 200421 yr Aguila deserves a chance to earn a roster spot, but if he's our everyday RF, it's not a good sign. He's decent, but with our anemic offense, we need a much more solid hitter out there.
December 4, 200421 yr ENC will be ready to go and in 100% shape by the start of spring training. RF is a non-issue performance wise except for trying to unload his massive contract.
December 4, 200421 yr Enc could be hitting in the negatives, his 4.5 mil will not sit on the bench for long.
December 5, 200421 yr I'm not sure if you're saying that as a response to my post, but if so, what I mean is that if Enc for whatever reason (trade, injury, etc) isn't our RF, we should not settle for Aguila as our everyday RF.
December 5, 200421 yr That's not the point. Are you ready to sit 4.5 mil on the bench on a team that won't have 60 mil allocated to the players on its own team?
December 6, 200421 yr What type of question is that? Lenny Harris got tons playing time last year, and you're going to ask if a mediocre veteran like Encarnacion is going to be benched?
