December 21, 200421 yr i dont know if he was or not...but even if he was, one could hardly say that a senior QB for a National Champion (granted, they hadnt won it when he was given the award) who had set numerous NCAA passing records and won the SEC Championship was going to get "beat" by a JUNIOR from the same conference who lost to the Gators and did NOT win the SEC Championship...nor the SEC East even.
