The Wilks-Barre market has no Stern affiliate even close except 94.1 out of Philly. Sorry Rune.

Yeah, they did until 97.9 dropped it a few years ago. I've heard good things about Sirius already and this just is a bigger incentive to pick it up. I'm still suprised though, how big a contract he received.

Odd thing is I get Stern on not 1, but 2 stations here every morning.

560 WQAM out of Miami and 96 k-rock here in Fort Myers. Both are owned by Beasley.

At least you now get the Phillies on WPHT so you don't have to fight with WPEN's sucky signal and you local affiliate bumping the Phils for the Red Barons.

I heard ESPNU's radio productions will be on ESPN Radio. XM already has it. :D

what exactly is ESPNU?

a radio show about what?

In March, sometime, Espn is launching another new network all about college. College sports 24/7. :D

My boys at CSS call ESPN "The Worldwide Follower in Sports".

Problem is you can only get CSS on select Comcast and Charter Cable Systems in the South. They ahd a contract with the Memphis Grizzlies but the Grizz pulled out when FSN South/Southwest came knocking with a better deal.

Lex and Terry, up in Gainesville and telecasted down in S. Fla on Zeta are greeeeeat!

Word is a big change is coming to Clear Channel South Florida. Either Zeta 94.9 or Big 105.9 is going bye bye soon.

Paul and Ron on Big will likely be the show they choose, so if one goes bye bye so does Lex and Terry. :confused

If they take Big 106 off the air I will nuke the city. I refuse to allow this.

Take off Y100 or something, that station hasn't been good in years. You have 3 hip hop stations and a Top 40 which might as well be a hip station. You have classic rock, one normal rock, and one smooth jazz. The other ones don't matter because they aren't coming off anytime soon. Why not dump one of the hip hop stations and leave the classic rock station? a**holes.

Yeah their's usually about 30 or so games a season I can't see and The Radio Reception for WPEN was horrible. I'd get an inning perfect and then go through three innnings of static. The Worst was when I Was in the car trying to listen to Jim Thome's 400th HR game and right before he steps up to the plate for the eventual Homer, The Signal goes dead.

Y-100 is never going off. It's either Zeta or Big. That's a bummer too because both are pretty enjoyable. It is expected however that someone else will change soon thereafter to Classic Rock if Big is flipped.

Then take Zeta off the air. Big 106 and Love 94 are the only two radio stations worth listening to anymore.
