January 6, 200521 yr What kind of advice is this kid getting? He has no career in the NFL as a receiver...maybe he can find a job as a special teamer/kick returner, but I doubt it. He's 5' 9", 170 lbs., and he was 74th in nation in receiving yards. He has poor hands, and is a poor route runner. Well, at least he's fast. I wouldn't want the Dolphins to waste even a 7th rounder on him. I don't get it. Why not stick it out another year? Whatever, though, I can't imagine the Canes will miss him much.
January 6, 200521 yr the guy is being delusional he can sit on the couch after being cut with his buddy Brock next fall
January 6, 200521 yr He must have got a big head after that punt return in the Peach Bowl. I don't see him doing much in the NFL. Shame that these kids are trying this.
January 7, 200521 yr Chris Chambers has similar physical statistics, however, Roscoe isn't 1/10 the WR Chris is.
January 7, 200521 yr Author Chambers is listed at 5' 11", 210 lbs. That's 2 inches and 40 lbs., which isn't nothing. He also has a vertical leap of over 40 inches, so he plays pretty tall.
January 10, 200521 yr somebody will pick this kid up..this guy has lots of talent and will help out some nfl team
January 10, 200521 yr Duper and Clayton werent the tallest or the biggest of WRs, if Roscoe gets in a system like Minn, Indy, St Louis etc he can be a very good 2 or 3 WR and a heck of a return man
January 11, 200521 yr He plays with heart...or is that not important? 652824[/snapback] unfortunately, that can only take you so far in the NFL
January 11, 200521 yr Author I really don't think he has talent. What he has is a lot of speed, which is a talent of sorts, but I don't he has any great talents as a receiver. He never really became much of an offensive threat as a Miami Hurricane WR. He can catch on as a special teamer, but it remains to be seen how good he'll be in the NFL when the speed gap is going to be a lot smaller. I'd love for the Fins to try him out returning kicks, just to see, but I wouldn't use a pick on him. Sorry, I just have to disagree about him catching on as a WR. Think of all the great WRs to come out of Miami, some of whom didn't even manage to catch on in the NFL. Roscoe just doesn't rate with the rest of those guys.
