I was thinking why not start debates like the ones in the Marlins Forum to the MLB Forum. The MLB Forum debates could consist of topics from around the league. Then the Marlins Forum champion can take on the MLB Forum champion in the "MB.com Debates Championship Series." Where it would be a best of 5 series in which the two debaters dook it out for the championship.

 

This would give a chance to the members who aren't experts on the Marlins but know loads of stuff on MLB topics.

Members should be experts on the Marlins, this is a Marlins site after all Not a bad idea, but not my cup of tea. If you bring it to the MLB board, some are going to suggest taking it to the Other Sports board and start a NFL/NBA/that other sport because they are good with "x" sport too. I say keep it original and just on the Marlins.

It'd get a bit old and drawn out, I think one is enough but it's just my opinion.

This doesn't really have anything to do with the thread, but I think we should do all the debates for each round at the same time rather than do one, then way for that to finish, do another, etc. I signed up for the debates like a month ago and it still isn't my turn yet, lol.
