I was wondering what would be the best way to submit my website, Tigerstalk.com to seacrh engines.

 

Ive doen the free url submit at AOL, Google, and Yahoo!, but we all know that takes a long time to access.

 

I was wondering if you would reccomend the 49 dollar Submit It service that Microsoft offers.

I just put Meta keywords into the pages and eventually Google, etc found me... the best way is to get linked to from other sites. I wouldn't pay.

Do not pay. Just do the basic search engines...

I get like 200-400 a day right now. I want to grow into thousands a day

I got like nothing the first 6 years of this site and then a couple hundred a day seemed great for the next couple years. Shouldn't take that long but it does take time to get the thousands.

And you know it has mostly to do with members and visitors spreading the word. It doesn't matter how many search engines you post the site on--the majority of your hits will come from people referred by other visitors. (unless you become like a super-huge-domain and your layout is pretty)

Best way is to get other sites to link to you. I created the Marlins Ballpark Newspage partly for this reason. All the search engines love to crawl over websites, so just give them time. I don't use metakeys BTW.

 

I recently added CapeForYou.com to a local portal, http://www.lee-county.net/, which at least gets me some higher rankings on the search engines. Most just require a link back.

 

Try finding a local portal for cities up in Michgan. It works better than Meta keywords.

i wouldn't pay, u already did the free submit, so see if u can get ur site linked to by other sites.
