X-Men 3 News:

-According to IGN.com, a fight is brewing between Warner-Brothers and FOX. Actors James Marsden, Famke Janssen, and Shawn Ashmore are all rumored to have taken on roles in the upcoming Superman movie. As a result, the likelyhood of Marsden returning to play the character of Cyclops in X-Men 3 has been called into question, and industry sources believe he will not be in the 3rd movie. The other two X-Men actors are still expected to appear, despite their roles in the Superman movie.

Spider-Man 3 News:

-During an interview with Spider-Man 1 and 2 director Sam Raimi, he hinted at the possibility of Venom being the primary villain in the 3rd movie. Although the second movie set up the likelyhood of Harry Osborn (James Franco) becoming the new Green Goblin, Raimi did not rule out the possibility of Venom making an appearance.

Also, the release date for Superman Returns is June 30, 2006. Interestingly enough, that was also the date that Fox had set aside for the release of X3... :mischief

DING DING DING :clapping

I'm sorry, but Superman will probably be the most uncompelling superhero movie since the Spider-Man movies.

I disagree....They haven't messed up the first two attempts at 'new age' comic book heroes. I think they'll do a commendable job on Superman (and Batman Beginnings with Christian Bale)

I'm looking forward to the Batman Begins movie in June, but not so much for Superman.

Spider-Man sucks. The acting and dialogue make me want to kill myself and there isn't enough action scenes. The X-Men movies are far more entertaining.
