July 14, 200323 yr Okay, without cheating, can you name the 1998 starting rotation as of Opening Day! I'm going to just shoot out a couple names, that I can think of. Hernandez for sure. Fernandez maybe? Meadows. And then Saunders I guess. With Rapp.
July 14, 200323 yr I'm going to just shoot out a couple names, that I can think of. Hernandez for sure. Fernandez maybe? Meadows. And then Saunders I guess. With Rapp. Nope! Alex Fernandez was out for all of 1998, he started on Opening Day 1999. Tony Saunders was gone, he was picked up in the Expansion Draft by Tampa Bay. Pat Rapp was gone, he was traded in 1997 after Livan came up. 1998 Opening Starting Rotation 1. Livan Hernandez 2. Felix Heredia 3. Rafael "Funky Cold" Medina 4. Eric Ludwick 5. Brian Meadows Two out of five for you! (You gotta be a hardcore fan to know that one, and trust me, I didn't look it up!)

July 14, 200323 yr Correct, Mike Redmond was the only Marlins to a hit an inside tha park homerun during the 2001 season. I remember watching it and it was funny how ran around the bases and slid into home. He hit it into the Bermuda Triangle.
