having class online

Featured Replies

so my professor is making us chat online for the next month instead of going to class. i thought it was a great idea at the time but now im sitting here and it really sucks. i cant pretend to pay attention because i then get asked questions. dammit.

well its a new technologies class so he's making us use "new" technologies to learn and he wants to see how effective it can be as a learning method.

i just had to bulls*** my way through some question.

well thats over, the problem is that i really didnt read the stuff before class which i never do. but in class i can just sit down and take notes and zone out. this was more involved so i had to bulls*** my way through it at times.

good thing though is that as i was having class, i was able to listen to the radio and watch sportscenter at the same time. and i saved gas of course.

I am taking an Educational Technology course and we have computers on our desks so everyone just surfs while the professor is giving the course. I am guilty of it too. But what I do is keep my notebook open so when something important comes up, I write it all down. It can be hard to concentrate, but I can do it.

new technologies

haha, sucks for you. i've taken many online classes but we never had chats. just super annoying message boards that you HAD to post on.

at first i dug not having to go to class, but i realized online classes are just constant work and really more effort than regular ones.

week 2 of class online...
