March 7, 200521 yr Author Saint Mary holds off Santa Clara 69-64 after SC rallied back from a 6 point deficit with 2 minutes left to tie it with a little more than a minute to go only to lose the ability to make a shot. St. Mary takes on Gonzaga for the tourney bid tomorrow night on ESPN at midnight.
