It's a lock Snare pitches with Texas this season. :confused *LHP Rob Henkel gave up 4 runs in 7 innings to notch his 7th win of the season and help lead Double-A Erie to a 13-6 blowout victory over Altoona. Henkel allowed 3 hits and 2 walks while fanning 6. The 6-foot-2 lefty looks to be healthy and it should be a lock that he pitches in Detroit this season Current Marlins prospect *RF Abraham Nunez remains a very hot hitter. Nunez would go 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI to help power Triple-A Albuquerque to a 3-0 home win over Tacoma. Nunez has raised his average to .390 in 18 games with the Isotopes. He's slugging .667. RHP Sean Bergman was the winning pitcher for Albuquerque as he would pitch a 2-hit shutout, walking none and whiffing 7. *RHP Denny Bautista is the Human Torch. Bautista struckout 11 batters in 7 innings of one-run ball to improve to 4-0 with Double-A Carolina as the Mudcats held off Jacksonville, 4-3. Bautista would only allow 3 hits and one walk in his 7 innings of work and he also doubled in a run. 5-tool. The 20-year-old Dominican has a 1.82 ERA in 5 starts with Carolina and has registered 36 strikeouts in 29.2 innings, walking just 9. Bautista in as hot as can be. He's darn good. *RHP Don Levinski started for Jupiter and he was very wild, issuing 4 walks and hitting a batter in 3 innings. He didn't allow a hit, though, and the 2 runs he let in were unearned. Levinski has now walked 44 batters in just 59.2 innings :confused What could have been :angry one could have been drafted by the Marlins last year(LHP Kazmir). The other was a name that was mention in the Floyd to Montreal deal instead of Justin Wayne(LHP Hinckley) *LHP Michael Hinckley outdueled LHP Scott Kazmir to help lead Low-A Savannah to a 7-1 cakewalk over Capital City. The red hot Hinckley would fire 7 shutout innings of 4-hit ball, walking one and striking out 7 to earn his 8th win of the season. In his last 7 starts, the 20-year-old southpaw has allowed just 6 runs in 44.1 innings (1.22 ERA), giving up 35 hits and 14 walks while whiffing 45. Hinckley has seen his ERA go from 5.64 on June 6th to 3.77 today. Scorching. Kazmir, who has also been hot, would pitch 5 innings, surrendering 3 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks, fanning 5. The 19-year-old lefty has now punched out 105 batters in just 76.1 innings pitched.
