I'm clueless about this stuff. 711939[/snapback] I am guessing its one of the soft screen type things, lcd. Cause some laptops have like a real glass, or hard plastic. I think I have what you have in terms of a screen. Yeah just use a damn washcloth, paper towel. It'll streak at first but it will dry fine.

March 16, 200521 yr well, if you're concerned that you might get some water into it, you could power it off, clean the screen, and let it dry before turning it back on. but fear of shorting something never stopped me from cleaning my laptop's screen while powered on.
March 17, 200521 yr Water, klear screen, personally I use alcohol free wipes. Just don't use window cleaner, it will remove the protective layer on your screen.
