March 24, 200521 yr Not really. Its always been around, but not as much as it is right now. Plus, now theres a station devoted to Reggaeton. Also, Daddy Yankee is huge right now, and more artists are coming into the picture. Reggaeton will last a while. It may be annoying to you, but just as much as you hate it, someone loves it. Some people think rock, rap, oldies, whatever, is annoying. 719347[/snapback] I recall Sisqo was "huge" when the Thong Song came out. Things go out of style quick... Gayggaeton will meet a similar fate.
March 24, 200521 yr One word: Freestyle Remember back when freestyle was big? It's not dead yet. It's still around but it's not mainstream. I don't think that reggaeton will be this huge forever. I think it will have a similar fate to freestyle. Just my two cents.
