March 22, 200521 yr MARCH 21--Meet Daniel Madril. The 39-year-old Florida teacher is facing voyeurism charges for climbing into a school gymnasium ceiling so he could allegedly peer at a 20-year-old female gym teacher--and into the adjacent girls locker room and showers. From his overhead perch, Madril, the golf coach at Dolores S. Parrott Middle School, may have also watched two female students, ages 11 and 13, undress, according to the below arrest affidavit. When the gym teacher spotted Madril climbing down from the ceiling, she asked what he was doing. Madril claimed that he was planning to "scare them by throwing a basketball" into her office. Of course, Madril, who was arrested last Friday, did not have a basketball in his hands. Now that he's facing three misdemeanor charges for his March 3 ceiling caper, Madril has been suspended without pay by school board officials. He is pictured above in a Hernando County Sheriff's link
March 22, 200521 yr Throwing a basketball to scare them is not a good excuse. He should have said he was trying to kill a rat that got into the ceiling or something like that.
