You cannot blame Bill Robinson for hitting the ball hard all night and just missing hits by inches.
April 10, 200521 yr You have to give props to Livan. He was really on his game last night. He kept the hitters off balance with a wicked change up at 68-70 mph, then mix in a slider in the low 80's and was spotting his fastball in the upper 80s. In one of the middle innings, I believe it was the 4th, he made Delgado, Lowell and LoDuca look helpless at the plate. Great outing by Livan....yet we still had our chances late. A few more feet by LoDuca or Alfonseca doesn't throw a fat pitch on an 0-2 count and we could have won.
