kent/PTBNL for adams/womack

Featured Replies

in a yahoo public league, being offered mike adams and tony womack for jeff kent and a scrub (to even the numbers). at this point i have no save-generating relievers (was out of town during the draft, so i had to auto-draft), almost no SB guys, and a glut of power guys (dunn, glaus, burnitz, also giambi, leiberthal, griffey). what do y'all think of this one?

no way, kent is having a great year at a VERY thin position... plus Womack bats ninth.

You can do much better

yea but he is a SS

But you can start him at 2b too.

Guess who is my second baseman. :whistle

I have 3 rockies, 3 marlins and 3 mariners on my team.

not to mention Kent will get even more value when he is 1B eligible..

Barnes is a solid young player but I wouldn't put all my stock into a guy with 100 career ABs... not even close to the same level as Kent at an uber thin position.

If you are lacking a closer that bad, you could get someone much better than 2 scrubs for Jeff Kent...
