April 16, 200521 yr My goodness.....our pitching has kept us in EVERY single game 4 runs or less??? And we have 0 offense. I know it is early but this is frustrating to Marlin fans.
April 16, 200521 yr We played Pedro Martinez. The Offense showed up when he stopped running our s***. We scratched out runs when he was out there and he left losing, what more could you ask for seriously? Do you want us to just drop 15 runs on the best pitcher of the past 15 years?

We have had so many past all stars- I hate to say it but Bill Robinson has to go.
April 16, 200521 yr The offense is in Detroit under the name Pudge Rodriguez: .343/.361/.400 And in Chicago under the name Derrick Lee: .361/.489/.639

Enc seems to be the only one stepping up with big game hits - and even those are a slight rarity.

April 16, 200521 yr Author What happens when we start pitching bad since we cant even win when we pitch good??? We have the best team ERA in baseball for goodness sakes and A LOSING RECORD. This doesn't make sense.

We have a LOSING record yet we have the best team ERA in baseball. This is terrible. Our pitchers will not be able to keep pitching this well. What happens when they get lit up if we cant even hit now and score 4-5 runs/ games?

April 16, 200521 yr we also nearly got no-hit by Aaron freaking Heilman. The increased expectations for this team also make us ripe for a letdown. If the bats don't start scoring runs we will be the new L.A. Dodgers from a few years ago. A bunch of great starting pitchers who manage to lose games 0-1, 1-2, etc. Tonight I don't blame the hitters as much though. My biggest disappointment is with Mota. Despite his great "stuff" we still have no idea how he will handle this role in the long term. It's still very early though... Remember last season's 11-4 start? Where did that get us?

I know it's frustrating to lose so many games 2-0 or 4-3, but it's been happening for a long while. That's the team's style.
