Tuesday=Marlins Day

Featured Replies

The Marlins are 6-0 this season on Tuesday.

We've outscored our opponents 49-16.

We've won each game by atleast 3 runs.

On Tuesday:

Beckett= 2-0

Burnett= 1-0

Moehler= 1-0

Leiter= 1-0

Mecir= 1-0

Even Leiter has won and never lost on Tuesday! However, Willis who is 7-0 has yet to win on Tuesday.

Our next game on Tuesday will be against the Dodgers where we try to make our Tuesday record like Dontrelle's current record.

Is Tuesday our good luck day? Thank g-d Monday and Thursday are the days we get off during the season and not Tuesday....The only time this season where we get off on Tuesday and where we have a day off on any other day besides Monday and Thursday is by the All-Star Game...

That is some great detective work finding that information out.?

Who is supposed to pitch next tuesday?

771502[/snapback]

Thanks.

And probably Willis. My reasoning:

On FloridaMarlins.com over Here they say that Josh is starting on Friday, Leiter on Saturday, and AJ on Sunday. If that holds true, then Willis will probably be the one to pitch on Tuesday, because Jack said that he won't skip Moehler in the rotation next time after his last start, so that would mean that he would start on Monday, and Willis would start on Tuesday.

That is some great detective work finding that information out.

Well, Moehler pitched before Willis in his last start so he may go first..

Oh, I thought you meant we had an off-day when you didn't mention Monday..

Go Fish!

That's a pretty neat stat. I'd like to see the love spread to the rest of the days of the week, but being perfect on one day isn't bad either. :thumbup

Well were 4-1 on Friday and our only loss came in the only game this year in which we've been shutout. (We lost 4-0 against the Mets...it was the horrid Heilman game)

It's ok. We got revenge just 5 days later when we smacked him around for 7 runs in 4 innings.

Also, another cool stat:

The Marlins haven't allowed more than 4 runs in any of their games on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. That's 13 games.

In those 13 games we've outscored our opponents 54-31, but our record is just 8-5.

Memories*

And there have been much worse in the past, but as far as this year, that was one of our only 2 bad games. And also, it wasn't so bad, it made our revenge much sweeter, and it let him pitch again against us, which gave us an easy win the second time around.

If you were going to correct the spelling in his post you should've also corrected his spelling of 'hailman".

Yeah, I guess so. I only corrected "memorys" because I just thought it was pretty sad he spelt it that way. Misspelling the name of a pitcher who everyone isn't so familiar with isn't such a big thing even though his name was already mentioned in the thread.
