[Well there's always one thread like this every year, thought I'd better get it out of the way] :whistle :p

We deserved the loss tonight.

It seems like we've been behind going into the 5th iinning or so for every game in the last week.

Everything was clicking for us before the Leiter game.

That ended a good run, and it was inevitable that game really. Since then the confidence has withered away badly.

Amazing thing is we're still top of NL East. Somehow.

That just shows how truly good we are. We can lose 4 straight and still be on top. But just because we get ahead doesn't mean the guys should be slacking off the way it seems they have been. Maybe they are just tired. I am sure they will pick it up in game 4 against the Mutts and then we will go on to spank the Pirates. :thumbup

Last night, we lost to Pedro. Thats ok, it's Pedro. Tonight, we lost to a guy who has an 0-3 record with over a 5.50 ERA and had more BB's than K's.

Horrible..

Lets try and win tomorrow (TRY!)

When you're in first place in late May, you know the season is over.

Pretty much what I was thinking. :lol

P.S. We're only top because the Braves keep losing. It won't be long before they start to turn up the Heat on Florida.
