Posted June 2, 200519 yr I'm writing an article for my website and i need by position, Fantasy MVP, LVP and someone whose on your waiver wire who might help.....
June 2, 200519 yr My fantasy MVP is Carlos Lee and Eric Bedard... I guess I could have said Tejada but I got Carlos Lee in the 8th round... even tho Eric Bedard is on the DL, i got him in the 24th round. LVP is Mike Lowell, no doubt about it. The waiver wire pickup who has helped me the most is Felipe Lopez. He's eligibile at 3B so he has helped cushion the blow of Mike Lowell... Also, John Patterson would be a good pickup as he's probably on most waiver wires.
June 2, 200519 yr MVP = Brian Roberts, Garland or Buehrle LVP = Rolen Waiver = Hidalgo, Reyes, Rollins (these are guys I've nabbed off the waiver recently)
June 2, 200519 yr Catcher - MVP: Jason Varitek, Boston -- He leads all catchers with 10 home runs but his fantasy owners wish that there were more runners on base for his moon shots. He only has 20 RBI's but owners love his .367 OBP. LVP: Victor Martinez, Cleveland -- Coming off a year where he hit 23 home runs and hit .283, one would have expected a little better then a .211 average with four home runs. The last three games he's gotten hits in five of his last 12 at-bats so maybe he's beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Waiver Wire Gem: Brandon Inge, Detroit -- It

I would take Wade Miller off, because he was injured going into the season, cant fault the man for that. Chris Reitsma should be on waiver wire pick ups.

I've been in the 1st place spot since wk 1, never moved, still up by 15 points :plain I managed to get Buehrle, Roberts, Garland too.
June 2, 200519 yr All Orioles: Robers-MVP (no doubt) Sammy-LVP (just because I was expected big power numbers) Bedard-Waiver steal. Honorable LVP mentions: Lowell, Thome, Randy Johnson, Juan Pierre, Carlos Beltran (based on him being a top-4 pick) Honorable MVP mentions: DLee, Cabrera, Delgado, Abreu, Garland, Willis, Livan and Clemens.
June 3, 200519 yr We had Bonds go second overall in a draft of mine; I'd say ranks him as a LVP right there.
