June 3, 200519 yr I am so glad he is gone...Saban kept him on only for the draft because of the scouting he had done, after the draft Spielman basically did nothing, so he left...just look at Speilman's track record, he was with the Lions and Bears and both those teams were run into to the ground with crap personnel decisions...then he went to the Dolphins, because help ruining two teams looks good on your resume...good riddence

Ogun was gonna sit out 10 games of the season anyway and he would've left in the offseason and we wouldn't have gotten jack for him, so trading him to the Bears for Booker and a 3rd rounder was ok in my book. Everything else he did was downright abysmal. I hope he never gets another job in the NFL unless he's used as a tackling dummy.

June 3, 200519 yr Dumbest move? Easily the Vernon Carey move. It was pointless. Completely pointless. And harmful. Every other move might have made sense if you tried really hard to understand. But the Vernon Carey move was as dumb as it gets. They gave up a 4th rounder to move up one spot, above the Minnesota Vikings, when there was no way the Vikings were going with an OL. And then to make matters worse Carey turned out to suck.
June 4, 200519 yr Ranking of the worst 1. Trading third-round pick for Lamar Gordon 2. Trading second-round pick for A.J. Feeley 3. Trading up to draft Vernon Carey 4. Trading Adewale Ogunleye to Bears the Vernon Carey move wasnt THAT bad. we needed OL, and all we lost was a second day pick. Trading 2 first day pick away for Gordon and Feeley was worse. Adewale was gonna leave no matter what, my only complaint is we didnt get a RB out of him, but Ogunleye for 3rd+Booker i can live with.
