I can't beleive the Yankmee's and Cashman are so hard up right now to aquire talent that they'd want Vladdy. Then again, it seems like when the Yankmee's trade for someone who blows goats they make a complete turn-around and play lights out. Maybe Vladdy is the next Mariano? (ok, couldn't resist)

We probably will get Sullivan though but I would really rather have Heredia.

It seems without Edmonds and Morris, the Cards have little chance of catching anyone anyway. Right now, we would be leading the Central - the Cards would have to catch us. They are sellers, they just dont realize it. That said, I think some of you are misinterpreting the Castillo factor. He wont, and shouldnt, be traded this season. If the FO did this, the Marlins chemistry would get screwed up and if the team started losing, the FO would be blamed by EVERYONE for miffing this up. That is a chance they are not going to take...and rightfully so. Drew can be had for next to nothing, and the Cards seemed bent on aquiring a starter. BE it Escobar or Suppan...I dont think this Drew deal is dead yet. If/when we pull a trade, I think it will be a shocker. I was even wondering about Vlad G and if we may pull that deal off...dont laugh, it is just as likely as he going to NYC.

Vlad i was thinking about him to..... its far from the imaganation..... but can be done as u know.... i dnt see Vlad going to the NYY cuz Baseball wont alllow that Trade to happen no way in hell... remember Baseball owns the Xpos.. since Guillan go's to the A's ... i find it most likey that M's will get Drew, cuz they are willing to deal Freddy Garcia... I see Bull pen relief, i just wish we had gotten Williamsion, from the reds
