I hate their banning system. I got some friggin' mystery ban. Don't even know what I did. I don't recall doing anything that could remotely be against the TOS. I am very irked that when you get banned, you have to send them a letter in the unban request to find out why. It's very disappointing that it doesn't just tell you. At least I still have all you. You'd never ban me, except that one time............jerks.

I remember being banned for disagreeing with one of the mods years ago. Needless to stay I try to stay away from the General boards of the different video game consoles and just stick to the sports ones.

I was not spamming. Everynow and then I just browse through old topics to see if there is anything interesting I might have missed. I found one that one of my friends posted in and I decided to back him up. I feel that I did it in a respectful way and that it was not ban worthy. I also have never heard of someone being banned for bumping an old topic. I find that rediculous and uncalled for. As such, I feel that a 72 hour ban is crossing the line, especially in a situation such as this where a warning would've more than sufficed. I feel that I have been wronged and I do not feel that I have violated the TOS in anyway. I request an unban and would be most appreciative if it were to happen soon.

That is why I have gotten away from IGN as my gaming website of choice. They are control freaks who continue to lock everything that made the website good with rules and regulations that no one understands as applicable.

I should go back to being a mod there, it was rough but sometimes was fun... the users don't really understand or appreciate how hard most of the mods work and how difficult it is dealing with thousands of users and thousands of posts on a daily basis.

My problem here is I get a ban for something that isn't even ban worthy, and then I look at the Vesti and I get confused.

Did you post those pictures of yourself on there?

The worst part of the IGN boards is that bans come from random mods that never visit the boards.

Yeah, that's due in part to the Contact Mods thread mostly.
