4 Year Old Dies In Disney Ride

Featured Replies

I dont see an age requirement making it completely "fault proof", (i.e. if someone has a heart condition, but passes the height and age requirements)

Obviously you would think someone with a condition like that would know better than to go on a ride like that in the first place, but when parents are having their 4 year old children go on such rides, it makes you wonder.

Yea, I take my last comment back. Age doesn't really make much of a difference, especially since millions of kids that age go on that ride everyday and this just happened to one child. It all depends on whether your body can handle it or not. I wouldn't take m 4 yr old kid (if I had one) on it, but that's just me. Maybe it's me being chicken. I haven't been on the ride because I am scared of it. (Trust me when I say I am chicken. Max tries to convince me all the time to ride certain thrill rides with him. I did Tower of Terror by a miracle. LOL)

Pirates of the Carribbean could be intense for some.

Yea, I can see why. That one drop isn't that bad though.

This is 100 percent the parents fault.

NO 4 year old should be on a ride like that ever.....but with that said, I feel horrible for the family, it's a tragic accident.

I disagree. Maybe the parents didn't know the intensity of the ride. And disclaimers that you see at the entrance, are pretty similar to other rides of lesser intensity.
