Just a little historical info. on me. I was born in Merritt Island, Florida. I went to the very first Spring Trainig game at the cocoa expo. I fell in love with the team then and got my father to buy tickets outside Joe Robbie for their first game ever against the dodgers. In 1994, I moved up to Virginia and met my wife, all the while enjoying the successes of 1997 and 2003. Last year, we moved to D.C. and for some reason she became a nationals fan. This leads me to where this is all my fault.

 

 

At the beginning of Spring Training, I finally got my Marlins flag and hung it up on opening day. Now realize how SCATTY we played in the Spring season. The team played great from opening day. Then on memorial day, I hung my stars and stripes like all great Americans should. Well my wife played a horrible trick on me, she hid my flag and hung her Nationals flag(that she got behind my back). She told me that I could hang my flag again once I found it. Well low and behold i found it and hung it back up about 5 minutes ago. Some may ask what about the Nats flag...........It is a smoldering pile of bubbling goo in my fireplace.

Is your house anyway along my commute? I'd love to see a Marlins flag flying around here. They had one flying outside of a nearby sports bar but took it down a couple months ago.
