June 30, 200520 yr It's not fair-weatheredness to enjoy a win. God damn, people, if you can't excited about an ending like last night's you need to get treated for manic depression. Do we have problems with the lineup? Yes. Has our relief corps screwed the pooch this season? Yes. But that shouldn't keep you from enjoying an exciting finish.

I had no voice left after the game last night, and my hands were peeling with blisters from clapping so damn much!
June 30, 200520 yr Half the posts on the board today would make you think we lost last night. 833394[/snapback] Well, pessimists will be pessimists. But I ignore them for the most part.
June 30, 200520 yr Author It's not about being pessimist nor positive. It's about being realistic. You are talking like everyone here is declaring the division won. You are no Guru I said everyone here seems to be declaring the division is won? Learn how to read peasant.

June 30, 200520 yr I don't think Dunlop did anything that Jack wouldn't have done. One thing that really should have been done earlier was let Lenny Harris pinch hit for Lowell MUCH earlier than they did. Lowell is pretty much an automatic out these days. I watched the game on FSN South in Atlanta last night and even their commentators said to pinch hit for Lowell. Would we have won sooner? I don't know, but Lowell sure as hell didn't contribute last night. We need more clutch hitting, bottom line. Fire or trade for whomever you need to -- just stop leaving so many people on base all the time! On a postive note, that was the happiest moment I've seen the players in quite some time. Maybe they'll start playing better -- we already have the talent.
