July 2, 200521 yr It may have been tough loss, but it was real nice to see the guys keep battling. Delgado, LoDuca, Encarnacion were all solid in the 9th. Lowell didn't get his job done as usual in key situations. Alex hit the ball hard, but was just unfortunate it went right a 2B.

Sure it was a disappointing loss as it looked like the momentum was going back in our direction. But Pierre let that ball go over his head and fortunes reversed. The guys showed a lot fighting back after the game appeared lost. They can take some positives from that and come back strong again tomorrow.
