Valdez is scheduled to throw around 40-45 pitches for the Jupiter Hammerheads today

Im glad the PBP is on top of things...

considering we signed him on the 27th

he had a solid 1st start for the Topes(6ip 2er)

We are nuts expecting great things from Valdez.

Isn't Osboune like 43?

Odd. Why didn't they just keep Les Walrond?

Walrond made his own choice to opt out of his contract and pitch in Korea. I'm not opposed to picking up Osborne though... if he does well in AAA then maybe the Marlins could use him as a long man, like they did with Rick Helling a couple years ago.
