We've allowed 30 runs in 3 days to the Phils

Featured Replies

Here hoping Willis can tame the Phils bats and get us a split against the Phils on the road.

We definatly have a good shot, the Phillies probable pitcher is aboe 6 on the ERA. We have been facing pitchers in the 3 ERA range so we might get a shot at this.

We still need to be ready on defence though. I have noticed, we score so much but let so many runs slip. It's not the slumps or anything. In game one we got 7 runs, in game 2 we got 9, and last night we got 5. Those are holy and powerful numbers compared too teams like the Nats who rely on their defence and Bull Pen to pull hard earned victories

OK, new general rule.

There will be no threads made directly to reference that day's game if it has not been completed yet.

Thanks.

Wow, just looked at it.

We are now 8th place in the NL in team pitching. Ouch. We were 2nd or 3rd a month ago.

Our starters are 5th, our relievers 12th.

So is this a minor blip in the data or is this the same extended slump our pitching went through last summer?
