What do you think is more impressive, 3000 hits or 3000 K's?

3000K's. The 3000 hit plateau is starting to get saturated with players so it's impressive factor has been reduced in my opinion.

If hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports, 3,000 hits is an amazing mile-stone.

 

The fact that 3,000 K's is being reached slowly speaks more to the decline in pitching quality/pitcher's health than the difficulty of the mile stone.

 

I've got to go with 3,000 hits.

Pretty much a tossup to me but I'd say 3,000 hits.

Id say 3000 Ks cause pitchers only pitch once every 5 games. Hitters play everyday or mostly everyday. I feel a career .300 hitter is a remarkable feat.
