September 6, 200521 yr What happened to that stat in the first half about the Fish leading the majors in innings of 5 runs or more? Where did all those innings go? Had we had one of those today, we'd all be sleeping nicer tonight... By the way, this has probably been said but...hypothetically speaking, if everything else had stayed the same...but the Marlins had played to their potential (Lowell and Pierre on fire...Alex's power numbers...Leiter playing to form...the bullpen dominating)....do you realize how far we'd have run away with things by now? In a way, its almost more shocking that we've come this far, had this many disappointments, and are still only one game behind from a playoff spot! soooo frustrating... :banghead
September 6, 200521 yr show's you how mediocre the rest of the teams are, and one of the reasons the wild card shouldn't even exist. are we, or any of the teams in this race, playing like a playoff team?

Keeps the season meaningful for alot of fans, not just four cities.
