Houston Most Important Series

Featured Replies

At this time, the Houston series may perhaps be the most important series of the season...for now... If the Fish take this series, they will have done a bit of damage to Houston's chances and also potentially pull further ahead from the Phillies. With Dontrelle leading off the attack, the Fish could make their statement for Wild Card right now...They need to have an edge before playing the Braves later on this month, and this team can do it, if they execute the fundamentals...make the routine plays, productive outs to move runners into scoring position, patience at the plate, key hits....

GO FISH!!!!

We are playing the most important series of the season on zero rest. goin into this past weekend's series, the Phillies had a nice refreshing day off last thursday.. the Marlins haven't had a day off since Sept 1st. Prior to that their last day off was August 15th I think? That's one rough schedule. And of course the teams we gotta face are no walk in the park either.. But, it's now or never, no use crying about it. LOL I just wonder how much difference a day off makes over the long haul. Now I look at Houston's schedule and see they had a lil breather this past Thursday too.

No excuses.

f*** em up.
