October 8, 200520 yr His job security is 99%. He built one of the best teams in baseball last season [on paper] and everyone and their mothers picked the Marlins to make it back to the WS, not his fault that they were also the biggest underachievers. The only reason I say 99% and not 100% is because Beinfest and Loria clashed on certain issues this year, such as firing Jack mid-season or not, but I don't think that'll effect his job security.
October 8, 200520 yr Nobody can ever be 100% secure, but Beinfest should be able to sleep comforably at night.
October 8, 200520 yr No idea. He's most definetly not perfect, but there's been one report of his job being in question and it was quickly shot down by Marlins officials
