So I was just browsing the New Orleans Hornets website and pretty much every reference to the team refers to them as the "Oklahoma City Hornets" :mischief2.

 

They're never going back to New Orleans.

It doesn't say Oklahoma City Hornets anywhere on their main pgae. Everything says just Hornets except for one instance that says NO/Oklahoma City . . .

granted they arent going back, they were probably leaving even without the storm in a few years...it was stupid to move the team there to start wtih and george shinn even despite his pure stupidity would have moved them somewhere.

 

 

i hope oklahoma city does well with the team.

its true, i had already heard about the possible need for the hornets to move again way before katrina ever developed.

 

 

although i aint gonna lie, das does sound at times like he got mugged and slept with a transvestite on a drunken trip to nawlins and is still bitter about it.

the place was a cesspool for crime.

 

which is why i find it hilarious that people made such a big deal about all the looting there...like various crime didnt happen there everyday at a higher rate than just about everywhere else in this town...

 

and new orleans couldnt exactly support their team, it was a joke having to see my spurs play in that dump.
