Nappy Roots-Wooden Leather

Featured Replies

Freakin sweet cd....its really good...I think non-rap lovers can get into this. My roommate is strictly country and 80s music (I love country, but refuse to listen to 80s music...in my mind, the best thing to come out of the 80s was me haha), and he heard some nappy roots, and loves them. Nothing else, just Nappy Roots.

If anyone wants any songs, I can send em through AOL IM...but, my firewall thing is kinda wierd...so I might not be able to send them until next week when I get back to Furman.

Anyways, the cd is country rap...its really good...I havent even finished the cd yet. I havent gotten to the Lil Jon and Nappy Roots track, but so far it is reaallyy good.

Apparently since Nappy Roots doesn't get a lot of play on TRL, the "rap fans" on this board don't care

meh...they might as well listen to boy bands or somethin.

Well, in hopes that someone on this board has listened to the cd....

I like track 6 "Sick and Tired"...a great song about barely getting by

i also like Nappy Roots Day (track 3), Round the Globe (the single, track 4), the Round the Globe Collipark Remix (track 18), These Walls (track 12), and Pushed On (track 10).

I thought Nappy Roots first cd was great but I haven't gotten a chance to listen to second cd yet.

I love nappy roots they are real good i like how the guy that look's like a jamaican with big lips raps he's the best(in my opinion)!!!!!!!!!

Nappy Roots...Yea I like country rap. Actually I only listen to dirty souff rap. I like to listen to the artist with the simple lyrics, I can't listen to those underground rappers man, I can't understand what they say...and they don't come up with as good beats.

yea by the way Listen to gangsta pat man he's the **** cuzin.

the songs off their first cd that i heard were pretty straight, but im not feeling their lastest single
