November 22, 200520 yr Surprised? That f'n sheister raped this team once more for his "grand design", whatever that may be. May Boston feel another 86 years without a championship for his antics.
November 22, 200520 yr please explain to me why he d1cked us up? look it this way beckett traded for Hanley Ramirez Anival Sanchez Lowell $18m magically disapear we trade an ace type pitcher in joshy for 2 top notch prospects. Now consider this,if beckett's elbow dont hold up this season we got the better deal hoping that doesnt happen but seems like everytime we trade or lose our top pitching guys they have arm problems Penny Pavano......
November 22, 200520 yr Billy Beane made this deal for lesser prospects and didn't get nearly the browbeating. Y'all mooks need to chill out. Tim Hudson for Dan Meyer, Charles Thomas, and Juan Cruz

November 22, 200520 yr I think Beane's leverage was at least a little less than that of Beinfest's. It really wasn't. -Playing in a crappy football stadium -Team with bad attendance -Star pitchers with injury issues nearing the end of their team controlled years -Slim to no shot at re-signing said pitchers Seems like almost the exact same situation.

Tim Hudson for Dan Meyer, Charles Thomas, and Juan Cruz Despite the year he had last year, I'd still take Juan Cruz over Ramirez or Delgado, and Charles Thomas had a nice rookie year with the Braves.

That's why your opinion doesn't matter. Juan Cruz and Charles Thomas are AAAA players.
