November 23, 200520 yr so at the end, we paid 11 million for one year of Delgado. Not a brilliant move by Beinfest and FO, unless one of those two players (Jacobs/PEtit) become great players.

SWEET! 2 better than mediocre prospects for Delgado and $41 million Ok, one better than mediocre procepct (Jacobs) and one highly overrated prospect (Petit). jacobs certainly looked good last year, but he hasn't hit lefties well and 100 ABs is a small sample size. IMO Petit is nothing more than a 3rd starter.
