2006 Sim - Phillies @ Marlins -

Featured Replies

Assuming Pierre, LoDuca and JP are not traded until July deadline...Due to Ramirez having swiped a lot of bases in the minors, I put him 2nd, and bumped Castillo down to 8 since his speed has declined and he has a good chance of turning the line-up over faster...

If next year's team is anything like this sim, it will be a fun team to watch!!!

Hope everyone enjoys this work of fiction (actual results of a simualtion game I played)

I played 2 other sims the other day: Willis versus Myers and Cabs and Jacobs had monster games and there were 3 Philly Homeruns (2 given up by the bullpen) and some doubles hit there but the Fish lost 6 - 5 ...Had another sim where Olsen got crushed and gave up 6 runs in the first en route to a 9 - 2 bashing , losing to Jon Lieber...

I only posted this sim to kinda offset the doom and gloom of the offseason

Sorry Conine fans he isnt currently on roster so I couldn't use him

How? Did you just randomly choose the results?

I made my own strato-matic baseball...I make rosters and based on last years stats, I have several different hitting and pitching classes that players get assigned to...I even factor in rookies, pitching fatigue, defensive arms, running speed, bunting, who fields the ball....It's all done with a 20 sided die....

I'd love to turn this into a computerized sim but I am not software savvy to do it...Curious as to how a 162 game schedule would work out as far as player stats over a season

20 sided die? Sounds a lot like that MLB Showdown Card game :lol
