Struggling Panthers trade Huselius to Flames

SUNRISE, Fla. ? (AP) ? The struggling Florida Panthers traded winger Kristian Huselius to the Calgary Flames for defenseman Steve Montador and minor league center Dustin Johner on Friday.

 

Huselius, 27, had five goals and three assists for eight points in 24 games this season for the Panthers, who have lost 14 of 16. He has 58 goals and 69 assists for 117 points in 257 career NHL regular season games.

 

Montador, 25, had one goal in seven games for Calgary this season. He has four goals and five assists for nine points in 94 career NHL games, registering 201 penalty minutes.

 

Johner, 22, had two goals and two assists for four points with the Las Vegas Wranglers this season. He led Las Vegas with 48 points last season.
