December 3, 200520 yr I'm guessing (errr...hoping) that the Marlins will lower ticket prices even if it is just a little bit. I don't see how anyone besides the employees is going to show up to the stadium with the same prices as last year.
December 3, 200520 yr Doubtful They already got their money from the season ticket holders. Anything else is jus gravy
December 3, 200520 yr They are doing the opposite. the prices are set to go up by like 20% there is still premium days as well. Plus there they added another seating area.

If they are going to field a AAA team they should charge AAA ticket prices. What is the price range for tickets to Isotope games? Raising ticket prices now just adds insult to injury. But I guess since getting a new stadium in South Florida hasn't been going the way Loria planned, he is falling back on his old ownership style ala Montreal. Gut the team, jack up ticket prices, cry poormouth, run off to a new city and make a huge profit. While fans like myself will still come out to games, all the fringe fans (that are still left after this offseason's bloodbath) will definitely be staying home.
December 3, 200520 yr It is going be horrible next offseason when none of the season ticket holders resign. Oh well
