Girardi (who - I agree with the previous poster - seems like he really rocks) will probably have to use it to bribe Cabrera into not complaining. December 8, 200520 yr Payroll is now down to around $18M with probably $2M of Villone yet to be traded. That $18M includes $4M of deferred payments. We could end up with an on-field payroll less than $15M when all is said and done. :blink: What would they have to have in ticket sales ,to cover that. (number of avg. price tickets?)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm there will be people in the stadium because we can assume it will almost be sold out for the red sox and teams like the mets and cubs that will bring up attendance levels a lot but there will be very few games that it will feel like a home stadium unless somebody starts selling tickets
