Mabdul Doobakus
This game answered the question: How do you get a 5-on-5 in OT?
Accord
This game answered the question: How do you get a 5-on-5 in OT? Overtime periods start 4 on 4 even when both teams have players in the penalty box so when they both got out it became 5 on 5 until the next whistle where it went back to 4 on 4. Overtime periods start 4 on 4 even when both teams have players in the penalty box so when they both got out it became 5 on 5 until the next whistle where it went back to 4 on 4. Well, no, not quite. The OT actually started as a 3-on-3. Then some dude on the Flyers got a penalty in OT, causing some, such as myself, to wonder if they'd go 3-on-2. But, alas, they went 4-on-3. Which caused some, such as myself, to wonder what would happen if play continued long enough for everyone to clear the box. Sure enough, we went gradually from 4-on-3, to 4-on-4, to 5-on-4, and finally, to 5-on-5. When the whistle finally blew it went back to 4's. So, you're almost correct, but OTs apparently do not start as 4-on-4 when both teams have a man in the box. At least not if the penalties were assessed at different times. Fishfan79
cant believe we lost that game. He had that goalie fooled in the shoot out and the puck seemed to just hop over his stick.
